Our Team.
The idea of the Maker Chips orginated out of the Maker CASS initiative led by Prof James as a IEEE CASS outreach event. Dr Joshi from IBM is the co-led, and Prof Samuel is the CASS Execom member behind supporting the Maker CASS club. The open source chip movement (OSCM) is created to cultivate a culture of chip design for wider community. Maker CHIPS is a program to reach out to communities that do not have access or have sufficient knowhow of taking from idea of circuit design to tape outs.
We invite wider circuits and systems society to join the initiatives of this movement. This is an open membership community and anyone with the passion to contribute to this cause are invited to join by sending an interest email to Prof James. We will keep on growing with time and will organize many community driven events in the upcoming weeks.
